⚠️ Items won't show up unless you do steps 3 and 4. Downloading the pack only adds it to your library — you must apply it to each world separately.

Tap Download .mcaddon above. Safari downloads the file and opens Minecraft automatically — tap Import when prompted.

Go to Play in Minecraft. Tap the pencil ✏️ icon next to your world (or tap Create New World).

REQUIRED: Tap Resource Packs → My Packs → Mechanix Resource Pack → tap the + to activate it.
Then tap Behavior Packs → My Packs → Mechanix Behavior Pack → tap + to activate.

REQUIRED for machines to work: Scroll down to Experiments and turn on Beta APIs. (Without this, the automation scripts won't run.)

Tap Play / Create to enter the world. Open your inventory — all Mechanix items and blocks will be in the Items and Construction tabs in Creative, or craftable in Survival!

Open the Minecraft Launcher.
In the bottom-left corner, click the profile dropdown and select Mechanix (Fabric 1.20.4). Click Play. The first launch will download a few small files automatically (this is normal).

Start playing!
Create or open a world. In Creative mode, find all blocks under Functional Blocks and ingredients under Ingredients. In Survival, start by crafting Andesite Alloy (Iron Ingot + Andesite) — that's the base material for everything.

Factory Pipeline Guide
- Place a Garden Bed and right-click it with wheat seeds to plant crops
- Place a Collector touching the Garden Bed (any adjacent face)
- Place a chain of Pipes from the Collector to a Block Placer
- Crops auto-harvest → Collector pulls them in → Pipes route them → Block Placer places them!
Quarry Pipeline:
- Place a Quarry on the surface above any area you want mined
- Place a Collector directly next to the Quarry
- Run Pipes from the Collector to a Sorter
- From the Sorter, run one Pipe to a Block Placer for ores and another for stone
- Right-click the Sorter with an ore to set the filter — ores go one way, cobble goes the other!
Quarry depth: Right-click a placed Quarry to see its current depth. It mines 1 block every 0.25 seconds through a 9×9 area — that's ~6,400 blocks per layer swept before going deeper!
Sorter filters: Right-click the Sorter empty-handed to see the current filter. Right-click with any item to set a new filter. The green output goes to the first adjacent Pipe; the red output goes to the second.
Cow Milker: Place within 4 blocks of any cows. Automatically produces a Milk Bucket every 10 seconds — no right-click required.
Block Breaker: Place above any mineable block. Breaks the block below every 2 seconds and drops the item. Pair a Collector below to auto-collect.
Guide Book: Craft with Book + Iron Gear. Right-click in-hand to flip through 7 pages of in-game instructions covering every machine.

Uninstall Mechanix
To remove the addon from Minecraft Bedrock, follow these steps:

Open Minecraft and go to Settings → Storage → Behavior Packs / Resource Packs. Find Mechanix Behavior Pack and Mechanix Resource Pack and delete both.

Per-world removal: Open the world in which Mechanix is active. Go to Edit World → Behavior Packs / Resource Packs. Tap each Mechanix pack and choose Deactivate. Save and re-enter the world.

If you want to keep the world but remove machines: break every Mechanix machine block by hand, then deactivate the packs as in step 2. Your builds will remain — only machines are removed.
